So, who the hell am I?
Hey! I`m Gabrel (or just Gabriel, both are fine.) I`m a Brazilian 2D motion designer helping studios and agencies to bring their content and campaigns to life since 2020.
My interest in making animation began early, when I've watched my uncle animating on Flash as a hobby. Since then, 10 years later, I started studying design and film on my Arts degree at the Federal University of Bahia. There I’ve made some scrappy short films with friends and I’ve also participated as a compositor on a short film called Quintal, made by an animation study group based at the UFBA’s School of Fine Arts called Mirá.
After starting my motion designer career I’ve worked with the YouTube channel Ponto em Comum, did some freelance works before moving from Salvador to São Paulo where I worked for a while on TV and then I’ve moved into advertising, where I am right now.
